Networkarr-N+

MANAGE THE NETWORK

Networkarr-N+ is the operational layer I designed to make a growing media environment understandable. It brings servers, applications, integrations, health, and connected nodes into one management experience.

01

The Operational Problem

A connected media experience depends on many services, servers, data sources, proxies, and applications. When those components are managed separately, failures become difficult to see and even harder to explain.

I defined Networkarr-N+ as the place where the technical environment can be monitored and managed as one connected system.

  • See every node and service
  • Recognize failures quickly
  • Understand dependencies
  • Reduce repeated manual checks
02

One More Node in the Ecosystem

N+ represents extensibility. New applications and services can enter the network as managed nodes without forcing the viewer-facing products to absorb infrastructure responsibilities.

Networkarr-N+ manages the network. It does not replace the experiences running on it.

03

Relationship to Dispatcharr

Networkarr-N+ manages the broader environment while Dispatcharr owns live-television operations. That separation keeps infrastructure management distinct from channel, EPG, stream, and DVR workflows.

  • Networkarr-N+ — systems and services
  • Dispatcharr — live television operations
  • JL Smart Guide — discovery
  • JL Network TV — viewing

What This Work Demonstrates

The product connects my enterprise-support background with product strategy and media operations. It demonstrates systems analysis, information architecture, service management, technical communication, and the ability to design around operational reality.
